“Okay kids page 319 through 400 is homework due tomorrow.” Said my lame teacher in class today. If my teacher would just be nice she would make it due in three days at least. But she just had to make it due the very next day. I tried to tell her that I have a two hour football practice so I will not be able to finish every page, but when I walked up to her she yelled at me and told me to sit down. It is difficult to complete homework and still have enough energy to do well at practice.
The first thing I'm gonna do is call their mom and ask her if she can pick me up. Being pickup will be faster than taking the old smelly school bus. Hopefully she will answer and say sure. If she doesn’t answer, I'll keep calling and leave a message. She eventually will call back and leave a note saying that the I'm going to be picked up after school today.
The next thing the I'm gonna do is get the homework done right when the I get home. Getting it done early will give the me more time to prepare. I have to focus if I am going to get it done. If the I do not focus and think about other things like butterflies or other distracting things I will get off topic like I am right now.
Being picked up and focusing will increase my chances of getting the homework done. If it is still not done tell the teacher that the homework could not be finished. "Okay, I guess you can have one more night to finish." That is what the teacher will say when I tell him/her that I could not finish the huge pile of junky homework.
Many students have a hard time completing homework and still having enough energy to do well at practice. Being picked up, getting the homework done fast, and focusing will help in getting it done.
